Meaningful change often begins with local actions. In 2024 and 2025, the Abhay Bhutada Foundation led by Abhay Bhutada, took up projects that directly improved learning access, education quality, and cultural exposure for people across Maharashtra. Each initiative focused on solving a real challenge—making history more reachable, classrooms more engaging, and education more attainable.

Cultural Learning at Rs 50 in Shivsrushti

One of the Foundation’s standout contributions in 2025 was its support for Shivsrushti, a historical theme park that celebrates the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. With a Rs 51 lakh donation, the Foundation enabled a Rs 50 entry ticket offer for two months starting

May 15.

Located in Pune, Shivsrushti spans 21 acres and features modern exhibits, visual storytelling, and real-time simulations of key moments in Shivaji Maharaj’s life. The reduced pricing helped increase footfall among students, families, and tourists who may have otherwise skipped the visit due to cost.

This effort wasn’t just about numbers. It was about ensuring more people—especially those from modest backgrounds—got a chance to connect with historical knowledge in an immersive setting.

STEM Education for Government Schools

In August 2024, the Foundation supported Sakar Eduskills in distributing STEM kits to eight rural schools in Pune district. These kits were specially curated to allow students to engage with science topics practically—using tools such as microscopes, periscopes, and anatomical models.

Over 2000 students received these kits, most of whom had limited exposure to science beyond books. Teachers observed an increase in class participation and a better understanding of basic concepts.

The schools, located in areas like Bahul, Bursewadi, and Malegaon, benefitted significantly as they did not have science labs or teaching aids. The kits turned basic classrooms into active learning spaces and encouraged curiosity among children who had never handled such equipment before.

Scholarships That Removed Financial Pressure

Later in the year, the Abhay Bhutada Foundation joined hands with the Maheshwari Vidya

Pracharak Mandal (MVPM) to provide financial support to 25 Maheshwari students. The scholarships—each worth Rs 1 lakh—were split between two categories: 10 for students with excellent academic records and 15 for those facing financial difficulties.

The application window opened in July, followed by shortlisting, interviews, and final announcements by mid-August. The awards were distributed in October 2024 during a dedicated ceremony in Pune.

For these students, the scholarship was more than just a monetary benefit. It gave them a reason to continue studying without fear of interruption due to costs. The Foundation’s support helped students feel seen, valued, and supported—at a stage in life where such reinforcement matters most.

A Clear Method Behind Every Effort

What made these projects effective was the Foundation’s sharp focus on outcomes. Each initiative was structured, time-bound, and implemented with trusted partners. This ensured that results were visible and consistent.

Instead of trying to do everything at once, the Abhay Bhutada Foundation selected targeted causes—like cultural access, practical education tools, and financial aid for students—and delivered them in full. That approach made the work both manageable and impactful.

There was no guesswork or generic funding. Each rupee and resource was directed toward clear goals that helped specific groups in need.

Why These Programs Matter

All three efforts—affordable access to Shivsrushti, STEM kits for village schools, and student scholarships—reflect the Foundation’s larger mission: to make education and growth possible for those who lack direct support.

The Foundation’s model is not based on large campaigns or publicity. It quietly works with

organizations, reviews community needs, and delivers help where it will be used well. This model ensures fewer barriers and more trust from those receiving the support.

With this approach, the Foundation contributes to long-term change without complexity—just simple, well-executed plans.

Conclusion

The Abhay Bhutada Foundation continues to show how local, focused efforts can reach the people who need it most. Through its recent work in cultural learning, science education, and scholarships, the Foundation has impacted both individuals and communities. These are not one-time contributions—they are part of a growing effort to ensure access, dignity, and learning for everyone, regardless of background.
